"If you believe in yourself, and have dedication and pride, and never quit, you'll be a winner."
- Paul "Bear" Bryant
To win in sports, business or life, always go beyond what's expected and never leave any room for doubt. The ASF Foundation Student Ambassadors program teaches a system of winning that could and should be carried into the game of life.
Along with gaining invaluable experience working alongside the ASF Foundation throughout the year, the selected student ambassador will be eligible to be awarded an ASF Foundation Academic Scholarship.
What are the Student Ambassadors duties?
The ASF Foundation Student Ambassadors will be responsible for helping promote the ASF Foundation and all of its programs including serving as the school's official representative on the ASF Foundation County Alumni & Friends organization. The Student Ambassadors will be an ASF Foundation spokesperson distributing program material to the schools and businesses in the community, speaking on television and radio about the programs or taking press releases to the local newspapers. Along with promoting the ASF Foundation, the Student Ambassadors will serve as ASF Foundation representatives at events taking place in their community and possibly attending the ASF Foundation State Games as an event management volunteer.
Who is Eligible to be a Student Ambassador?
Alabama's High School students who have time and a passion for excelling in the public arena and who enjoy being a part of a program seeking positive community relations. Each applicant should display strong academics, leadership and communication skills amongst their peers.

ASF Foundation Student Ambassadors worked with the ASF Foundation to mentor people in their communities on the dangers Texting & Driving, along with other programs of the ASF Foundation. BE A MENTOR, Don't Text & Drive is a program designed to help make Alabama's roads safer by mentoring people around the state on the dangers of Texting & Driving. An online petition was created and Student Ambassadors mentored people throughout their schools and communities to sign the petition and pledge to become a mentor to others on the dangers of texting and driving.
