Event Rules and Format

The competition will follow the USA BMX official rules of competition. For riders who have never competed before, a free one-day trial USA BMX Membership is offered on-site at the venue.
Age determination date is June 22, 2013.
No one except riders officially registered may ride or practice on any portion of the course on the day of the event. Parents are allowed in the staging area, but cannot assist riders on the starting gate. Only riders that are 5 years old and under can be assisted on the starting gate. Each riders front wheel must be placed against the gate, be grounded and remain stationary during the starters call. Only boys age 6 and under and girls age 7 and under may be assisted in balancing their bicycles on the gate by another person, whose hands may not be in contact with either the rider or the bicycle once the starters sequence has begun. It is the riders responsibility to be on the gate when his race number is called and in the pre-assigned gate position. After the close of registration, a complete schedule of the events motos shall be made. Any rider that leaves the gate without a number plate would be scored in last place.
