Age Divisions:
Cub (Under 12)
Youth (12-14)
High School (15-19)
Adult (19-49)
Senior Adult (50-59)
Silver Senior Adult (60-69)
Master Senior Adult (70+)
All ages will be split by gender.
Styles:
Barebow Traditional (Includes Recurve or Longbow)
Olympic Recurve
Hunter Compound
Compound Limited
Compound Open
Classes Defined:
Classes are the combination of Gender, Age Division, and Style. An archer may only compete in a single class for this tournament.
Fees & Deadlines
Cub/Youth/High School Divisions:
$25 per participant
All Adult Divisions:
$50 per participant
DEADLINE: June 1, 2021
Registration may close early if the number of participants registered meets the maximum range capacity to support a safe execution of the tournament.
There will be NO REFUNDS of entry fees because of rain or other acts of nature, or if an athlete or team fails to participate. Sports using outdoor sites are weather dependent. Competitions will be conducted unless State Games officials determine otherwise, or if the playing fields would incur significant damage.
Awards & Qualifying
Alabama State Games gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each class.
Note: Out-of-state competitors may place in the top three, but will not displace an in-state archer from placing.
Archery is a Medal Sport for the State Games of America (SGA) event. Those who medal in the 2021-2022 Alabama State Games Archery tournament qualify to compete in the 2022 SGA, held July 27 - July 31 in Ames & Des Moines, Iowa. Participants in the Alabama State Games are responsible to check event format and age groups for all SGA qualifying sports offered at the Alabama State Games.
