Divisions


Men's Doubles Women's Doubles Mixed Doubles Circle Skill Level: Doubles 3.0 | 3.5 | 4.0 | 4.5 | 5.0 Mixed 3.0 | 3.5 | 4.0 | 4.5 | 5.0 Divisions will be organized by age and skill level for participants ages 19-59. Participants ages 60 and above will play by age division only, unless the individual requests to play by skill. Women’s Doubles: 19-49 Age/Skill, 50+ Age/Skill, 60+ Age Men’s Doubles: 19-49 Age/Skill, 50+ Age/Skill, 60+ Age Mixed Doubles: 19-49 Age/Skill, 50+ Age/Skill, 60+ Age **The tournament director reserves the right to combine ages, levels and format. Doubles Partners must register separately and provide their partner(s)' name(s) and birthday(s).




Fees & Deadlines


Standard Registration Fee: Doubles: $25 per athlete *An additional event may be played for $5 - you will need to register for both DEADLINE: June 10, 2021 There will be NO REFUNDS of entry fees because of rain or other acts of nature, or if an athlete or team fails to participate. Sports using outdoor sites are weather dependent. Competitions will be conducted unless State Games officials determine otherwise, or if the playing fields would incur significant damage. Awards & Qualifying


Alabama State Games gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place individuals in each division. Pickleball is a Medal Sport for the State Games of America (SGA) event. Those who medal in the 2020-2022 Alabama State Games Pickleball tournament qualify to compete in the 2022 SGA, held July 27 - July 31 in Ames & Des Moines, Iowa. Participants in the Alabama State Games are responsible to check event format and age groups for all SGA qualifying sports offered at the Alabama State Games.
