Format & Rules
International Centerfire Match - Competitors in this event will shoot 60 rounds total. The first stage consists of 10 shots of slow fire (2 strings of 5 shots; 5 minutes per string). Second stage consists of 10 shots of sustained fire (2 strings of 5 shots; 20 seconds per string). Third stage consists of 10 shots of rapid fire (2 strings of 5 shots; 10 seconds per string). First three stages will shoot the NRA B8 timed fire target at 25 yards. The last stage is 30 shots (strings of 5) with 3 seconds per shot on the NRA B27 Silhouette target. Scoring for all stages is after 10 shots. Any .32 caliber or larger firearm allowed. A junior division (16 & under) will be offered (.22 caliber only). All firing must be done with one hand (strong hand), unsupported.
Man on Man Steel Plate Match - The match will consist of two parts: 1) a qualification round for placement on the match bracket and 2) a single elimination shoot off. A bout will consist of the best 2 of 3 runs. The targets will be (4-5) 6 inch falling steel plates and a (1) cross over popper engaged at a minimum distance of 10 meters. Firearms allowed are any centerfire handgun 9mm or larger in caliber with a minimum bullet weight of 115 grams and a minimum power factor (bullet weight X velocity/1000) of 125. No armor piercing ammo allowed. Modified, non-modified, and semi-autos will compete separately.

Rifles may be any center fire caliber (.35) and under and may be fired from a front rest (bi pod, sand bag, or an adjustable rest) plus a rear sandbag.
All participants must check-in at the training facitility first (to sign the club non-liability waiver and pick up targets if needed).

Alabama State Games gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each division.
