A Word from our Executive Director on COVID-19
June 11-13, 2021.
Because of the existence of vaccines, and the large number of athletic events already being held in this area of Alabama, we fully believe that these dates will work and that the COVID-19 threat will no longer be as serious. We have been in contact with the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) and, as of now, no AHSAA sporting events for the spring have been cancelled or postponed. All decisions concerning the Alabama State Games are made on a safety-first basis, as we consult with State and Local officials. We will take every action at the time of the Games to ensure the health and safety of our athletes, families, officials, and volunteers.
We want to assure you, however, that, although we do not foresee this as a problem, if we were to have to cancel the Games due to the COVID virus A FULL REFUND OF ALL REGISTRATION FEES THAT HAVE BEEN PAID WILL BE MADE IMMEDIATELY. We want you to be confident to register, knowing that you will not lose your registration fees should a Virus-connected cancellation occur, but 100% of the fees will be refunded.
