Drive Safe Alabama
Presented by Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT)
Participants go through “behind the wheel” simulated driving experiences, and they experience the effects of being under the influence of substances by wearing special goggles. ALDOT along with Alabama State Troopers will lead this informative session by allowing students to simulate the dangers of distracted driving and driving under the influence. The objective is to change the driving habits and behaviors in order to prevent them from becoming a part of the increasing crash and fatality statistics of young drivers.
Driving Simulator
Hands on experience is the best teacher, but through technology students are able to gain knowledge of the road from the comfort and safety of the class room.
*We are also able to provide some of these sessions at your school. We can customize a program to fit your needs and your schedule. Click HERE for more information.
